Phase 1 โ€” Concept & Pre-Production (Complete)

    Engine Selection & Studio Setup
    Unity 6 selected. Company registered. Core leadership team hired. IP protection in progress. Initial investor pitch deck drafted.

    Prototype & Technical Validation
    Server-authoritative networking prototype running. All 8 needs functional in-engine. Simoleon economy loop validated. Unity 6 asset pipeline established. PostgreSQL schema first pass complete.

Phase 2 โ€” Foundation Build (Complete)

Phase 2 has not started. It begins after Phase 1 pre-production is complete and funded.

    All 8 needs fully implemented with decay rates, trait modifiers, life-stage scaling, and critical-state consequences (fainting, accidents, loneliness moodlets). Multiplayer Social bonus multiplier active.

    Earn via careers, sell crafted items. Spend on lots, furniture, upgrades. Simdollar premium currency framework coded. No pay-to-win verified.

    Multiplayer Networking Stable (8 Players)
    Server-authoritative model stable at 8 concurrent players. NA and EU regional servers live in testing. Open Neighborhood and Private session modes functional. Offline local play working.

    Basic Maplewood World
    Maplewood layout and terrain blocked out. Residential district lots placed. Day/night lighting transitions working. Core build tools (walls, floors, doors) functional.

    3 Career Tracks Playable
    Business, Medicine, and Culinary tracks fully playable (all 10 levels). Performance meter with mood/skill/friends factors. Both active and passive shift modes working.

    6 Emotion States Active
    Happy, Inspired, Focused, Confident, Sad, and Embarrassed emotions implemented with transitions and gameplay effects. Moodlet system (+/-) with positive moodlets live.

Phase 3 โ€” Alpha Development (Active)

Phase 3 has not started. This is the planned scope for the Alpha development phase.

    CAS Clothing System (Full)
    Body sliders done. Clothing catalog expansion in progress โ€” targeting 100+ hair styles, all 7 outfit slots, full accessory category. Fabric/pattern customization pending.

    All 8 Emotions + Flirty & Angry
    Flirty (unlocks romance interactions) and Angry (unlocks aggressive interactions) are the remaining two emotion states. Emotional memory / moodlet log system under development.

    Entertainment, Tech, Military, Criminal, Education, Science, and Art tracks. All designs finalized. Development begins Q3 with completion target Q4 2025.

    Family tree, biological children (requires committed relationship), adoption, trait inheritance from parents. Toddler and Child life stages. Shared custody rules for split households.

Target: Q1โ€“Q3 2026. Feature-complete beta build. Community beta invite. Full QA, performance optimization pass, and accessibility.
